Sub-processors

Last updated

In plain words

The third-party services that may process data on our behalf, what each one does, and how you find out when the list changes.

1.What a sub-processor is

A third party we use to run the platform that may process personal data on our behalf. Each is bound by a written agreement to process it only on our instructions, and to protect it to the standard we promise you.

2.Current sub-processors

By category:

  • Cloud hosting — running the API and the databases.
  • Managed database — storing account, catalogue and usage records.
  • Frontend hosting and CDN — serving this website and the dashboard.
  • Transactional email — sending sign-in, billing and support email.
  • Payment processing — taking card payments; card details never reach our servers.
  • Mapping and routing data — used by location tools to generate routes.

The named list, with each provider's processing location, is available on request from hello@lacnova.com and is included in our Data Processing Agreement.

3.Changes to the list

We will publish any addition here at least 30 days before it starts processing data, so you have time to object. If you object on reasonable data-protection grounds and we cannot resolve it, you may cancel affected plans and receive a pro-rata refund.

4.Data Processing Agreement

If you process personal data of your own customers through Lacnova, ask us for a signed DPA. It incorporates Standard Contractual Clauses where data leaves the EEA or UK.

Write to hello@lacnova.com and a person will reply.

Questions about this policy?

Write to hello@lacnova.com and a person will answer. If something here is unclear, that is a fault in the writing, not in you.
